Pour ce nouveau projet, la musicienne et compositrice Veda Bartringer explore de nouvelles sonorités en intégrant un quatuor à cordes au sein de son quartet.
Ses compositions tissent un dialogue entre musique classique et jazz, deux univers qu’elle maîtrise et qu’elle souhaite aujourd’hui réunir.
Formée au conservatoire en harmonie, contrepoint et arrangement, Veda Bartringer puise dans cet héritage classique pour enrichir sa création jazz.
Cette rencontre entre technique et liberté, écriture et improvisation, constitue le cœur de son travail actuel.
À travers cette nouvelle musique, elle cherche à créer des moments profondément personnels, des tableaux sonores autobiographiques qui évoquent les différentes phases de la vie.
L’aspect narratif et émotionnel devient ainsi central : la musique se fait récit, souvenir et partage.
Après un précédent album inspiré par la terre et l’univers, nourri de textes et d’images de la NASA, la compositrice s’oriente désormais vers une quête plus intime, tournée vers l’émotion intérieure et les paysages du cœur.
Le bonheur de cette création sera également partagé avec la flûtiste Naïssam Jalal, invitée d’exception pour cette matinée, et la pianiste Ève Beuvens, résidente et participante de RESET, dont la présence apportera une résonance toute particulière à ce moment musical.

For this new project, musician and composer Veda Bartringer explores new sounds by integrating a string quartet into her quartet.

Her compositions weave a dialogue between classical music and jazz, two worlds she has mastered and now wishes to bring together.

Trained at the conservatory in harmony, counterpoint, and arrangement, Veda Bartringer draws on this classical heritage to enrich her jazz creations.

This encounter between technique and freedom, writing and improvisation, is at the heart of her current work.

Through this new music, she seeks to create deeply personal moments, autobiographical soundscapes that evoke the different phases of life.

The narrative and emotional aspect thus becomes central: the music becomes a story, a memory, and a shared experience.

After a previous album inspired by the earth and the universe, nourished by NASA texts and images, the composer is now turning to a more intimate quest, focused on inner emotion and the landscapes of the heart.

The joy of this creation will also be shared with flutist Naïssam Jalal, a special guest for the morning, and pianist Ève Beuvens, resident and participant of RESET, whose presence will bring a very special resonance to this musical moment.
