C’est la quatrième fois que le cycle Pause s’associe à Propulsion, dispositif transfrontalier d’accompagnement dédié au jazz et aux musiques apparentées. Découvrez les lauréats du parcours PropulsionBands : quatre ensembles prometteurs venus de la région Grand Est, du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg, de Belgique et de Suisse. Ils se produiront le 13 juin au Gudde Wëllen (Forward & Pyrotyri) et le 14 juin à neimënster (Soundbound+1 & Mania). Destiné aux jeunes artistes, Propulsion accompagne chaque année une nouvelle génération de projets émergents. Cette quatrième édition donnera lieu à des concerts en région Grand Est, au Grand-Duché de Luxembourg et en Belgique francophone. Sélectionnés sur appel à candidatures, les lauréats bénéficient d’un accompagnement sur mesure : mise en réseau avec les acteurs de la scène musicale, formations à la carte (production, diffusion, communication) et mentorat artistique, du suivi de préproduction jusqu’à la sortie d’un EP promotionnel.

Foward (FR) Forward incorpore l’électronique comme un ingrédient organique et propose un jazz audacieux à l’allure cinématique et qui va de l’avant

 Pyrotyri (CH) Fondé en 2023 à Lausanne, Pyrotyri fait vibrer des compositions incisives aux grooves profonds et décalés, entre fusion et nu-jazz

This is the fourth time that the Pause series partners with Propulsion, a cross-border support program dedicated to jazz and related music.

Discover the winners of the PropulsionBands program: four promising groups from the Grand Est region (France), the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Belgium, and Switzerland.
They will perform on June 13 at Gudde Wëllen (Forward & Pyrotyri) and on June 14 at neimënster (Soundbound+1 & Mania).

Aimed at young artists, Propulsion supports a new generation of emerging projects each year. This fourth edition will include concerts in the Grand Est region, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and French-speaking Belgium.
Selected through an open call, the winners receive tailored support: networking with music professionals, customized training (production, touring, communication), and artistic mentoring; from pre-production to the release of a promotional EP.

Soundbound+1 (LU)
Soundbound+1 brings together four young musicians from Luxembourg, the Czech Republic, and the United States. They combine original compositions, revisited standards, collective energy, and inventive contemporary improvisation.

Mania (BE)
What if we could play freely, without chasing an illusion of perfection? Mania celebrates groove, dialogue, and the shared moment above all.

Forward integrates electronics as an organic element, offering bold, forward-looking jazz with a cinematic touch.

Pyrotyri (CH)
