Naïssam Jalal, flûtiste, vocaliste et compositrice franco-syrienne, et Golnar Shahyar, vocaliste, poète et multi-instrumentiste irano-canadienne basée à Vienne, se sont rencontrées en 2023 au festival Morgenland. De cette rencontre est né un désir musical aussi précieux qu’impérieux.

La résidence à neimënster sera leur premier temps commun. Elles vont explorer ce que leur amour musical peut engendrer et défricher ensemble un chemin encore sans nom.

Naïssam Jalal, a Franco-Syrian flautist, vocalist and composer, and Golnar Shahyar, an Iranian-Canadian vocalist, poet and multi-instrumentalist based in Vienna, met in 2023 at the Morgenland Festival. From this encounter emerged a musical desire as precious as it was compelling.

Their residency at neimënster will mark their first time working together. They will explore what their shared love of music can bring to life and, together, blaze a trail that has yet to be named.
