Feli Navarro is an artist working with sound, performance, and listening practices, exploring how human and non-human bodies meet through vibration, movement, and resonance.
For the Embellie residency in Neimënster, Navarro develops a research-based project centred on bees and beehives as sonic and ecological agents. Starting from the beehives in the surroundings of Neimënster, the project explores their acoustic life through fi eld recordings, listening practices, conversations with beekeepers, and studio experimentation. By working with micro-sonorities and diff erent forms of synthesis, the research proposes a form of collaboration with non-human life.

In the context of A Desirable Future, bees appear as essential indicators of ecological im/balance, embodying forms of collective organisation, interdependence, and care. Rather than approaching bees symbolically, the project seeks to listen with them: to their rhythms, sounds, and modes of coexistence, as a way of sensing futures grounded in reciprocity and ecological attention.

Feli Navarro has presented work internationally in Spain, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Italy, and Estonia, and has participated in residencies at institutions such as Fundació Cuixart (Spain), neimënster (Luxembourg), 4bid Gallery (Amsterdam), Elektron Art (Tallinn), Bohemia Farmstudio (CZ), and Radio Relativa (Madrid).
Alongside his artistic practice, he teaches Sound Art at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and is a certifi ed Deep Listening® facilitator. He holds an MA in Performance Practices from ArtEZ University of the Arts (NL) and an MA in Sound and Music Computing from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (ES). He is currently based in Pamplona-Iruña, Spain.

Feli Navarro est un artiste qui travaille avec le son, la performance et les pratiques d’écoute, explorant la manière dont les corps humains et non humains se rencontrent à travers la vibration, le mouvement et la résonance.

Pour la résidence Embellie à neimënster, Navarro développe un projet de recherche centré sur les abeilles et les ruches en tant qu’agents sonores et écologiques. Partant des ruches situées aux alentours de neimënster, le projet explore leur vie acoustique à travers des enregistrements de terrain, des pratiques d’écoute, des échanges avec des apiculteurs et des expérimentations en studio. En travaillant avec des micro-sonorités et différentes formes de synthèse, cette recherche propose une forme de collaboration avec le vivant non humain.

Dans le cadre de A Desirable Future, les abeilles apparaissent comme des indicateurs essentiels des déséquilibres / équilibres écologiques, incarnant des formes d’organisation collective, d’interdépendance et de soin. Plutôt que d’aborder les abeilles de manière symbolique, le projet cherche à écouter avec elles : leurs rythmes, leurs sons et leurs modes de coexistence, comme une manière de pressentir des futurs ancrés dans la réciprocité et l’attention écologique.

Feli Navarro a présenté son travail à l’international, notamment en Espagne, aux Pays-Bas, au Luxembourg, en Allemagne, en Italie et en Estonie, et a participé à des résidences dans des institutions telles que la Fundació Cuixart (Espagne), neimënster (Luxembourg), 4bid Gallery (Amsterdam), Elektron Art (Tallinn), Bohemia Farmstudio (République tchèque) et Radio Relativa (Madrid).

Parallèlement à sa pratique artistique, il enseigne l’art sonore à l’Universitat Oberta de Catalunya et est facilitateur certifié Deep Listening®. Il est titulaire d’un Master en Performance Practices de l’ArtEZ University of the Arts (Pays-Bas) et d’un Master en Sound and Music Computing de l’Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Espagne). Il est actuellement basé à Pampelune–Iruña, en Espagne.
