The Jakob Buchanan Kvartet consists of four of the best jazz musicians in the Danish Jazz Scene today. They are all prize winning composers and great soloists with an international career. The Jakob Buchanan Kvartet was nominated for the best Jazz CD in Denmark in 2011 with the album I Land in The Greenland.

Jakob Bro has toured and recorded alongside Paul Motian, Bill Frisell, Lee Konitz, Joe Lovano, Tom Harrell and Ben Street. Marilyn Mazur was a member of the Miles Davis band in the 8o´s and has toured with Wayne Shorter, Jan Gabarek and many other great artists. Jonas Westergaard: is one of the new branches on the tree of outstanding Danish Bass players, who has won many prizes for his compositions and his bass playing.
