Dans le solo Dreamer, la chorégraphe et artiste associée de neimënster Anne-Mareike Hess s’aventure au-delà de la mince frontière qui sépare le réel de l’imaginaire et le ressenti du fantasme. La rêveuse – une incarnation sensuelle de la féminité éveillée ainsi qu’une surface transparente pour les projections des spectateurs – attire le public avec sa voix et son changement d’apparence perpétuel dans un espace surréaliste dévoilant progressivement les inscriptions patriarcales dans le corps féminin. Après le solo Warrior (2018), Dreamer est la deuxième pièce dans laquelle l’artiste est poussée à affirmer sa propre féminité et à s’interroger sur les stéréotypes associés aux femmes.

Did you know that women only have a limited amount of eggs ? Once the tick tick tock of the biological clock kicked into gear, it would. not. stop. A 30-something woman tries to grapple with her biological clock and society’s expectations, encountering surprising experiences along the way: abortion, putting herself back together again, why we bother with motherhood and why we don’t just let our eggs wither away. Peppered with recurring gynecological visits, stark bollock naked is a tragi-comedy about reclaiming the body and what to do with it all.
