Cassie Taylor - Daughter of a Bluesman - the renowned Chicago-born Otis Taylor. From her very early teens, she toured in his band as bassist and backing vocalist. Now staking a claim as a musician in her own right, Cassie's songwriting is a new kind of blues, which explores the trials and tribulations of a twenty-something woman. Using pop vocals and deeply-rooted blues bass lines, Cassie is leading the new generation of blues artists, as can be heard on her latest CD, Out of My Mind, which was released in 2013.
