The innovative French Stories project features Cedric Hanriot's original compositions alongside well-known French songs from artists such as Jacques Brel, Serge Gainsbourg, or Edith Piaf. Cedric has taken these songs and infused them with contemporary styles such as Jazz, Hip-Hop, Afro and World Music. With the worldwide release of French Stories in 2011 on the Plus Loin disc label/Distribution Harmonia Mundi, Cedric will be performing in a trio format of Piano/Fender Rhodes/Laptop/Melodica/Speaking voice, Bass/Upright bass, and Drums/Vocals.
