Plateforme : Révélation(s) / Revue Portfolio et Exposition est un événement organisé par Café Crème asbl en partenariat avec neimënster où artistes du Luxembourg et de la grande région présentent leur travail à des experts européens de photographie contemporaine.

Révélation(s) Portfolio

A la différence des revues de portfolios classiques, l’artiste sélectionné par un jury du Mois européen de la photographie du Luxembourg est invité à présenter et commenter son travail en public à travers un exposé d’environ dix minutes en anglais devant une dizaine d’experts européens de renom. Cette partie est  ouverte au public le 14 mai à 14h. A la fin des présentations, l’artiste échange individuellement avec chaque expert présent qui commente son travail en tête à tête.

Parmi les experts internationaux figurent : Delphine Dumont (curatrice et directrice, Photo Brussels Festival + Hangar, BE),   Christian Gattinoni (critique d’art + rédacteur en chef de la revue en ligne « www.lacritique.org », FR),  Rui Prata (directeur, Imago Lisboa, PT),  Emmanuelle de l’Ecotais, curatrice et directrice de Photo Days Paris FR, Maren Lübkke Tidow, curatrice EMOP Berlin, Mona Schubert, curatrice Foto Arsenal Wien….

Exposition : Révélation(s) EMOP

Complémentaire à la plateforme Révélation(s) Revue Portfolio, l’exposition Révélation(s) EMOP, sous le commissariat artistique de Café Crème asbl montre un choix d’œuvres récentes d’artistes émergents et confirmés, représentatifs de la scène photographique et artistique luxembourgeoise actuelle. Choisie par le jury d’EMOP Luxembourg, dans le cadre de la 10^ième édition du Mois européen de la photographie, cette sélection s’inscrit dans la continuité des questionnements autour du médium. L’exposition est ouverte au public à la chapelle de neimënster du 30 avril au 28 mai.

Portfolio Revelation(s)

Unlike traditional portfolio reviews, the artist selected by a jury of the European Month of Photography in Luxembourg is invited to present and comment on his or her work in public through a ten-minute presentation in English to around ten renowned European experts. This part is open to the public on 14 May at 2pm. At the end of the presentations, the artist will have a one-to-one discussion with each of the experts present, who will comment on his or her work.

Exhibition: EMOP Revelation(s)

Complementing the Révélation(s) Revue Portfolio platform, the Révélation(s) EMOP exhibition, curated by Café Crème asbl, shows a selection of recent works by emerging and established artists, representative of the current Luxembourg photographic and artistic scene. Chosen by the EMOP Luxembourg jury as part of the 10th edition of the European Month of Photography, this selection is in keeping with the ongoing questioning of the medium. The exhibition is open to the public at the Neimënster chapel from 30 April to 28 May.
