PROPULSION - CROSSBORDER SUPPORT PROGRAM FOR YOUNG JAZZ TALENTS

Saxophonist Hugo Diaz from Strasbourg and trumpeter Daniel Migliosi from Luxembourg, winners of the Propulsion support program, present their new EP at this co-headlining concert. This recording is the common thread running through the Propulsion cross-border program, which has been following them for a year now. Accompanied by the teams of Compagnie Tangram, drummer Stéphane Scharlé, and saxophonist Maxime Bender, the two winners of this first edition of the program have benefited from a 360-degree path to accelerate their professionalization.

Hugo Diaz and his quartet, and Daniel Migliosi and his quintet, despite their young age, have all the makings of seasoned bandleaders and jazzmen. Two very distinct jazz universes, but both share compositions that radiate mastery, energy, and finesse, carried by high-flying ensembles that are not to be missed!
