The installation is part of the ENIGMA project (film and video/photo installation). It links 3 moving images and 12 colour photographs in the exhibition rooms of neimënster. The installation was conceived from the film elements, deconstructed and reinterpreted in order to produce a spatial unit within the exhibition room itself. The venue space increases while the characters walk around. Vânia and Andresa wander in a strange world, constantly changing and metamorphosing. An enchanting song, like the call of a Siren, lives in the different places they travel through... The chant attracts them and leads them in some kind of labyrinth. The two are soon separated in a maze of rooms and galleries and Andresa loses sight of Vânia, in the underground galleries... Featuring actress-performers Vânia Rovisco and Andresa Soares, and opera singer Véronique Nosbaum. The book, ENIGMA - Pierre Coulibeuf, published by Stolen Books, accompanies the exhibition.
