Viktoryia
Bahdanovich

Vjanok | Flower Wreaths
The Belarusian artist will take us on a journey through Slavic folklore, especially the night of Kupala and its divination in flower crowns. Indeed, following this tradition, the villagers create crowns of wild flowers and dance while making a wish. They then throw the wreath into the river: if the wreath floats, the wish will come true. Viktoryia Bahdanovich will take us on an exploration of this Slavic tradition and give us an experience that is both human and magical.

Antoine
Grimée

The world of comics
The comic strip is a mode of narration using sequences of images, accompanied or not by text. Behind this definition lies a whole field of possibilities that we will try to approach through a simple exercise: an imposed dialogue, a blank page, and three hours to let your imagination run free. No technical skills are required, since all tricks are allowed: collage, transfer, photo novel, detour of existing strips... The goal is not to learn how to draw, but to experiment with the possibilities offered by the medium of comics to tell unique stories.
