The personality of the Luxembourg choreographer Anne-Mareike Hess, the quality and originality of her approach are powerful motivators that pushed the video artist Bohumil Kostohryz and the dance critic Marie-Laure Rolland to make a documentary film on her work. The creation of the solo Dreamer gave them the opportunity to make this medium-length film in the form of an investigation. They followed the artist step by step in her work for nearly two years to try to shed light on the spring of her creative force. The project, which started in February 2020, was hit by the Covid-19 pandemic. After this first screening, the authors and the choreographer will discuss the film with the audience as well as Anne-Mareike Hess' future creation.
