Le trio WEAVER de la chorégraphe Anne-Mareike Hess est une ronde chorégraphique sur le corps féminin et son lien inévitable avec une histoire de violence et d’oppression intériorisée depuis des milliers d’années. L’image du tissage sert ici de métaphore de la connexion réticulaire des destins féminins à travers le temps et l’espace. Et comme base chorégraphique le long de laquelle les corps des danseuses se connectent et s’émancipent. La toile de la violence peut-elle être brisée ?
WEAVER est le troisième volet de la trilogie On Fighting, Dreaming, and Weaving, dans laquelle l’artiste tente de se frayer un chemin à travers les nombreux stéréotypes liés aux femmes.
La représentation sera suivie d’un bord de scène avec les artistes du festival l’Embellie, animé par la dramaturge Heike Bröckerhoff.

The trio WEAVER by choreographer Anne-Mareike Hess is a choreographic round dance about the female body and its inevitable link to a history of violence and oppression, internalized over millennia. The image of weaving serves here as a metaphor for the connections between female fates across time and space and serves as a choreographic basis along which the dancers’ bodies connect and empower themselves. Perhaps the net of violence can be broken?
WEAVER is the third part of the trilogy On Fighting, Dreaming, and Weaving, in which the artist tries to fight her way through the tangle of stereotypical ideas of being a woman.
The performance will be followed by a conversation with the artists of the festival l’Embellie, moderated by dramaturge Heike Bröckerhoff.
