The eight artists selected for this 7th edition will take turns to showcase their solo virtuosity. Set up in the Brasserie, they will give the venue a singular ambiance for an original concert. It's become a not-to-be-missed event for music lovers at the start of the year. For this 7th edition of the RESET jazz festival, neimënster has renewed its invitation to composer and vibraphonist Pascal Schumacher to take on the role of musical curator, imagining a program that is as cutting-edge and ambitious as ever. To bring the project to fruition, rising jazz stars and established names from Belgium, France, Germany, Finland, Japan, Denmark, and the UK, accompanied by Luxembourg double bassist Marc Demuth, were invited to share a residency lasting several days on the neimënster site. Exchanging ideas, making personal connections, and experimenting with sound, they will perform on an itinerant journey, weaving exceptional artistic encounters with the public. The results of their work sessions will be presented over three exceptional evenings, including a closing concert featuring all the participants on neimënster's main stage. The artists of this 7th edition: Cécilie Strange (Denmark) - Saxophone Elodie Pasquier (France) - Clarinet Makiko Hirabayashi (Japan) - Piano Eva Klesse (Germany) - Drums Jim Hart (United Kingdom) - Vibraphone Marc Demuth (Luxembourg) - Double bass Kalle Kalima (Finland) - Guitar Rémy Labbé (Belgium) - Trumpet
