About the festival

It's become one of the must-attend events for music lovers at the start of the year. For this 7th edition of the RESET jazz festival, neimënster has renewed its invitation to composer and vibraphonist Pascal Schumacher to take on the role of musical curator, imagining a program that is as cutting-edge and ambitious as ever. To bring the project to fruition, rising jazz talents and established names from Belgium, France, Germany, Finland, Japan, Denmark and the UK, accompanied by Luxembourg double bassist Marc Demuth, have been invited to share a residency lasting several days at neimënster. Exchanging ideas, making personal connections and experimenting with sound, they will perform on an itinerant journey, weaving exceptional artistic encounters with the public. The results of their work sessions will be presented over three exceptional evenings, including a closing concert featuring all the participants on neimënster's main stage.
