Ritual, a recital for solo viola by Spanish violist Isabel Villanueva, is a daring and risky project that brings together J. S. Bach's Partita n. 2 and Kurtàg, framed by a piece by Hildegard von Bingen and Biber's Passacaglia, in a stylistically impeccable interpretation that doesn't give in to historicist impositions. Scherzo Magazine's "Outstanding Album of the Month" and "Concert of the Year", RITUAL will be the Grand Duchy's showcase card for Isabel Villanueva, a charismatic interpreter and emotional magician. Isabel Villanueva (Pamplona, 1988) is considered one of the most interesting violists on the international scene and is dedicated to promoting contemporary viola music and bringing the instrument to a wider audience. Isabel Villanueva plays the viola built in 1670 by Enrico Catenar in Turin. "RITUAL" is an extraordinary concert offered by the Círculo Cultural Español Antonio Machado.
