Dans le solo DREAMER, la chorégraphe Anne-Mareike Hess s’aventure au-delà de la mince frontière qui sépare le réel de l’imaginaire et le ressenti du fantasme. La rêveuse devient une incarnation sensuelle de la féminité éveillée ainsi qu’une surface transparente pour les projections des spectateurs. Elle attire le public avec sa voix et son changement d’apparence perpétuel dans un espace surréaliste dévoilant progressivement les inscriptions patriarcales dans le corps féminin.
DREAMER est le deuxième volet de la trilogie On Fighting, Dreaming, and Weaving, dans laquelle l’artiste tente de se frayer un chemin à travers les nombreux stéréotypes liés aux femmes.
À l’occasion du festival l’Embellie, la chorégraphe Anne-Mareike Hess présentera DREAMER dans une nouvelle version interprétée par la danseuse Adaya Berkovich.
La représentation sera suivie d’un bord de scène avec Adaya et Anne-Mareike, animé par la dramaturge Heike Bröckerhoff.

In the dance solo DREAMER, choreographer Anne-Mareike Hess crosses the thin line between the real and imagined, the felt and the fantasized: the Dreamer is a sensual embodiment of awakened femininity as well as a transparent surface for the spectators’ projections. She lures the audience with her ever-changing appearance into a surreal space that gradually exposes patriarchal inscriptions in the female body.
DREAMER is the second part of the trilogy On Fighting, Dreaming, and Weaving, in which the artist tries to fight her way through the tangle of stereotypical ideas of being a woman. 
On the occasion of the festival l’Embellie, choreographer Anne-Mareike Hess will present DREAMER in a new version performed by dancer Adaya Berkovich.
The performance will be followed by a conversation with Adaya and Anne-Mareike, moderated by dramaturge Heike Bröckerhoff.
