How to dance "El Amor Brujo" today without falling into a spell, a spell or a trap? How to do "El Amor..." with or without quotes, in uppercase or lowercase, with or without charm? How do you do it without dancing it every time it's been danced, or at least some of them? Is it possible to do "Love..." without repeating the gestures of those who have done it before? Isn't that precisely the spell of "Love..."? In what way, body after body, year after year, name after name, do we repeat, believing we are doing it for the first time, somehow believing in the originality of our gesture? Backer and philosopher Fernando López does “El Amor…” allowing himself to be penetrated by Falla to smear the score with words and gestures that remind us that the wizard of Love has to do with making us believe in its uniqueness and irreplaceable.
